    • The Courtyard Cafe — both inside and outside areas for a nice view of Kalk Bay

    • Bob’s Bagels — best bagels in the area- within a cute art shop, or great for take away to the park across the street or walk down to the beach front

  • This location is literally the bottom of the world-- look out for baboons- costs a bit to visit, which makes it a safer hike

  • View the plankton Luminesce at night (happens typically in the beginning of winter)

NOORDHOEK :

  • Noordhoek Beach: white sand walks or book horseback riding or see the SS Kakapo shipwreck

  • The beginning of Chapman’s Peak Drive- you can stop several places along the way- after the tollgate, there’s a boardwalk off to the side that has great views. Check website for open status

  • Noordhoek Common —  an open space for activities such as flying kites and playing soccer, it is a perfect place to meet up with family and friends to have a picnic. There are often horses in the paddocks for the kids to see and there is a little stream for exploring and catching tadpoles
