Oasis Sanctuaries is registered Non Profit Company as “Peaceful Oasis Sanctuaries”. Individuals can donate up to R50,000 tax-free.
Individuals can donate up to R50,000 tax-free. If you are a taxpayer in South Africa and require a tax certificate, please email together with your proof of donation.
Companies - by February 2026 we should have our Non Profit Organization application approved to be a Section 18A Public Benefit Organisation with the South African Revenue Service in order to distribute tax deductible certificates.
That being said, if you make a pledge to donate to Peaceful Oasis Sanctuaries in 2025, we can defer the donation until we can distribute tax certificates.
Please contact us if you wish to receive a tax certificate so we can discuss next steps ! Your business’ donation may qualify for SED points on your B-BBEE scorecard and/or provide tax advantages.

Oasis Sanctuaries accepts tax-deductible gifts of various forms of virtual (digital) currency such as Bitcoin. Per government requirements, these gifts are recognized as real property and are received and receipted similar to stock and other securities. Virtual currency gifts of $5,000 or more annually require a qualified appraisal. For more information, or to make a virtual currency donation, please contact our philanthropy team

Unfortunately we don’t currently have tax deductible options yet for donors from other countries other than the US or South Africa - but we do have an option to set up an account where we can for several countries if its a large donation, so just email us to let us know your interest.

Type in your email address to receive a secure, temporary sign-in link.
Open your email inbox and click View My Account within 30 minutes to access your profile.
Locate your active recurring donation under your account history or settings.
Select the option to Edit or change the payment method, then enter your new card or bank details.
Click Save at the bottom of the page to apply the changes to your future schedule.

US Donors - Oasis Sanctuaries is a registered 501(c)(3) organization. When giving online via credit card or for gifts of stock or Donor Advised Funds, you will also automatically receive an email receipt. We send out contribution statements for all other tax-exempt donations and a receipt for income tax purposes (unless otherwise requested) in early January after the end of the calendar year.
This includes in-kind donations, like home goods or books for the retreat center will receive a signed Gift-in-Kind receipt.
ZA Donors - If you are a taxpayer in South Africa and require a tax certificate, please email philanthropy@oasissanctuaries.org together with your proof of donation.

It certainly is. We use Simple Donation as our online platform.
All credit card transactions are processed using secure encryption -- the same level of encryption used by leading banks. Card and bank information is tokenized, transmitted, and processed securely on a PCI-Compliant network.
We do not transmit or store any card data in our system -- only tokens.
