Workplace Giving and Employer Matching Gift Programs

Many companies offer matching gift programs that will double, even triple a donation's value. Even more, your company may also match gifts from spouses, retirees, and board members! Speak to HR at your workplace for further information to determine your companies policies.

Corporate Sponsorship

Other Ways to Partner

  • Pray - Pray for our staff, volunteers & those that we support. If you want to be added to our list specifically for prayer requests, please email Katie.

  • Frequent Flyer Miles - As our international travel is a significant and neccessary expense to our ongoing development, this could be a meaningful way to partner. You will receive a tax-deductible receipt for that donation.

  • Donate Non-Cash Items - in-kind gifts are contributions of goods, services or expertise, and we have included some options under our FAQ’s

FAQ’s

  • Oasis Sanctuaries Tax ID Number or EIN is 87-2644308.

  • US Donors - Oasis Sanctuaries is a registered 501(c)(3) organization. When giving online via credit card or for gifts of stock or Donor Advised Funds, you will also automatically receive an email receipt. We send out contribution statements for all other tax-exempt donations and a receipt for income tax purposes (unless otherwise requested) in early January after the end of the calendar year.

    ZA Donors - If you are a taxpayer in South Africa and require a tax certificate, please email philanthropy@oasissanctuaries.org together with your proof of donation.

    International Donors - If you give through TrustBridge, you will get a receipt from their partner organization that helps to facilitate your donations

  • It certainly is. We use Simple Donation as our online platform.

    All credit card transactions are processed using secure encryption -- the same level of encryption used by leading banks. Card and bank information is tokenized, transmitted, and processed securely on a PCI-Compliant network.

    We do not transmit or store any card data in our system -- only tokens.

  • Yes, you can. You can set up monthly when you click the “Give Online” button at the top of this page. For further assistance, contact Katie at katie@oasissanctuaries.org.

  • Goods : gently used kitchen items & other home goods … if you have something that you think would be feasible to transport, please email.

    Services : we are looking for printing services avaliable in the US

    Expertise : we welcome your expertise, though there are a few areas we specifically know we could use further assistance if you want to donate your time : tax advice for expats; marketing and website design; social media management

  • Yes. All items donated, like home goods or books for the retreat center will receive a signed Gift-in-Kind receipt.

  • Yes! Text “Operational Funds” to 626-600-3111 and you will receive prompts from there!

    This method is processed through the same platform as our online giving called Simple Donation, so it is a secure payment method.

  • Oasis Sanctuaries accepts tax-deductible gifts of various forms of virtual (digital) currency such as Bitcoin. Per government requirements, these gifts are recognized as real property and are received and receipted similar to stock and other securities. Virtual currency gifts of $5,000 or more annually require a qualified appraisal. For more information, or to make a virtual currency donation, please contact our philanthropy team

  • We do not have a physical address in the US, but we utilize a mailbox service to receive all physical mail that is then securely sent to us.

  • Yes it is! Oasis Sanctuaries is registered Non Profit Company as “Peaceful Oasis Sanctuaries”.

    Individuals can donate up to R50,000 tax-free.

    If you are a company looking to donate, by February 2026 we should have our Non Profit Organization application approved to be a Section 18A Public Benefit Organisation with the South African Revenue Service in order to distribute tax deductible certificates. 

    That being said, if you make a pledge to donate to Peaceful Oasis Sanctuaries in 2025, we can defer the donation until we can distribute tax certificates.

    Please contact us if you wish to receive a tax certificate so we can discuss next steps ! Your business’ donation may qualify for SED points on your B-BBEE scorecard and/or provide tax advantages.

    Unfortunately we don’t have tax deductible options yet for donors from other countries - but the Swiss company TrustBridge that helps make this possible, is adding to their partner countries and we can let you know when it becomes possible from your home country!
