Donating appreciated Stock or Mutual Funds can result in an immediate donation to Oasis Sanctuaries Inc. while minimizing your capital gains taxes and giving you the maximum charitable tax deduction possible. A gift through a Trust can provide you with income for life or provide a legacy to your heirs while making a donation (current or deferred) to our organization.

A Donor-Advised Fund is a private fund administered by a third party to manage charitable donations for an organization, family, or individual. This can be a low-cost and convenient charitable giving fund for all your charitable giving.
A Donor-Advised Fund Sponsoring Organization (such as National Christian Foundation) manages the account; then you as the donor recommends how to invest the assets and where to donate them. Technically, once assets are deposited into a donor-advised fund, the sponsoring organization has legal control over them. But as long as you choose a charity that's recognized by the IRS as a U.S. charitable organization, the sponsoring organization will usually use your charities of choice.

If you are at least 73 years old, you can have up to $100,000 transferred to Oasis Sanctuaries Inc. every year from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) without it being taxed as part of your adjusted gross income. Additionally, you satisfy your minimum distribution requirement.

A gift of a bequest through your will or living trust can be in the form of cash, appreciated assets, property, retirement accounts or life insurance, and it may offer tax benefits to your estate and to your heirs. You may establish a bequest in a newly prepared will or a codicil (addition) to an existing will, or a trust. Bequest through your will or living trust results in a meaningful donation to Oasis Sanctuaries while ensuring that you have adequate funds throughout your lifetime. A bequest is one of the simplest planned gifts to establish.

You may donate real estate, including commercial, residential or industrial, as well as undeveloped land. You also have an option to make a gift of a “Retained Life Estate” in which you retain the right to live in your home, a vacation home or a farm for the remainder of your life.

A gift of life insurance is as easy as naming Oasis Sanctuaries as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy. Or, you can name us the owner and beneficiary of a policy; this donation can be claimed as a contribution on your income taxes.
