BREAKFAST PREP/CLEAN UP (4 PEOPLE) 6:30AM
Start prep at 6.30 am. PRAY FIRST
Unlock the kitchen, both pantries, cold room.
Have the dining room ready for breakfast. Make sure the coffee/tea/sugar containers are filled, the counter is clean and six (3 red/3 blue) full bottles of fresh milk in the fridge door. Wipe down the Hot Water Cylinder.
Repack the chairs around the tables and neaten the area from the night before. Wipe down tables, if necessary. Open the sliding doors & glass door next to the hatch.
Pack out breakfast items.
EAT BREAKFAST BEFORE SERVING
Ring the bell very loud down the passage and at the foot of the stairs.
First student at the hatch prays.
Serve breakfast at 7.00-7.30 and close the hatch.
Pack away all breakfast items in the pantry and/or cold room.
Wash and pack away all dishes/cutlery.
Make sure the Wash-up area surfaces are all clean and dry.
Pack out one “plate” dish washing tray and one “mugs” dish washing tray and the cutlery holders.
Take out the rubbish in the kitchen, dining room, sunroom, wash up area.
CLOSED TOED SHOES MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES. NO FLIP FLOPS, SANDALS OR BARE FEET IN THE KITCHEN.
LUNCH KITCHEN CLEAN UP (2-4 PEOPLE) 1:30PM
Wash and pack away clean dishes/cutlery.
Wipe the tables in the dining room, coffee/tea counter, inside and outside of the microwaves and around the microwave, the hot water cylinder, the wall at the tea/coffee station and the chairs.
Stock up the tea, coffee, sugar sticks and make sure there are 6 full bottles of milk in the fridge. (3 red 3 blue)
Sweep and mop the floor in the dining-room.
Take out the rubbish in the dining room and wash-up area.
Pack out a plate dishwasher tray, a mug dishwasher tray and the cutlery tray.
Check the wash basins are clean.
AFTER ALL THE DISHWASHING IS DONE, MOP THE WASH-UP ROOM FLOOR. PUT OUT THE “WET FLOOR” SIGN WHERE IT CAN BE CLEARLY SEEN. LOCK UP KITCHEN, BOTH PANTRIES, COLD ROOM & THEN PRAY TOGETHER
DINNER PREP (4 PEOPLE) 4:00PM
Start prep at 4:00. PRAY FIRST
Wear an apron, mop cap and use gloves.
Follow menus in the red folder.
Clean up work area in kitchen and make sure all dirty dishes/pots pans are washed, dried and packed away before serving. This is not the responsibility of the clean up crew.
Pack away ALL supplies that you used.
CLOSED TOED SHOES MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES. NO FLIP FLOPS, SANDALS OR BARE FEET IN THE KITCHEN. ONLY STUDENTS ON THIS WORK DUTY ARE ALLOWED IN THE KITCHEN. THIS IS NOT A HANG OUT AREA.
DINNER CLEAN UP (6-8 PEOPLE) AFTER DINNER
Wash, dry and pack away all dishes/cutlery.
Wipe the tables, chairs, counters in the dining room and sunroom.
Wipe down the microwaves in the dining room.
Clean the tea/coffee shelf in the dining room.
Stock up tea/coffee/sugar containers. Check on milk supply. (3 red 3 blue)
Stack chairs before sweeping/mopping the dining room floor.
Put out yellow “Wet Floor” Sign
Empty the bins in the kitchen, dining room/sunroom, wash up area.
Wipe down all counters in the kitchen, replace tin foil on the gas burners.
Wipe down outside of the oven doors.
Sweep/mop kitchen and wash up area.
Leave one plate dishwasher tray and one cup dishwasher tray out on the counter as well as the cutlery holder in the wash up area.
LOCK UP THE KITCHEN, COLD ROOM AND PANTRY.
AT THE END OF WORK DUTY PRAY TOGETHER
MOPS, TOWELS, CLOTHS (1 PERSON)
Place the blue and yellow cloths into the washing machine after dinner clean up.
Cloths to be put into washing machine after lunch clean up on Thursday.
The cloths take approx. 15 mins in the washing machine.
After washing cycle is finished they are to be placed into the dryer. Cloths are to be folded and put away in the closet in the passage before the next day shift starts.
Every morning mops soaking in blue bucket need to be rinsed, squeezed, hung up.
Blue bucket needs to be emptied.
Fill bucket with clean water JIK (bleach) and Citrus solve for soaking.
This is to be repeated before dinner clean up.
FRIDGE CLEAN UP (1 PERSON)
Clean fridge.
Remove everything from the fridge and wipe down shelves, doors and sides.
Replace only sealed containers with visible names and dates.
Throw everything out of date and unlabelled away.
GROUND FLOOR PASSAGE & BACK PORCH/RECYCLING (2-3 PEOPLE) 2:00PM
Sweep the back porch daily.
Once a week move all furniture and sweep.
Sweep the passage way from the back porch to the swing door at entrance hall, including passage outside the pantry, pantry and bread room, and down past the serving hatch.
Mop once a week.
Wipe base boards with a damp cloth once a week.
Break down all boxes and stack neatly in recycling bin or beside.
Bring any recycling from washing up area – rinse, compact and put in the appropriate bin.
2ND FLOOR PASSAGE (2 PEOPLE) 2PM
Sweep the backporch daily.
Sweep the passage way daily from the backporch to the swing door at entrance hall including passage outside pantry/serving hatch.
Mop once a week with swiffer mop and wooden floor cleaner ONLY. DO NOT USE WATER
IF THERE ARE ANY BOXES OR RECYCLABLE ITEMS IN THE WASH UP AREA OR OUTSIDE AT THE RUBBISH BINS, BREAK DOWN BOXES AND RISE OUT ALL RECYCLABLE GLASS/PLASTIC AND PUT IN THE COLORED BINS ON THE BACK PORCH.
BASE SECURITY (1 PERSON) - STAFF WHO LIVES ON BASE
Lock up the building every night and be responsible for the firm alarm.
This should be done preferably by a staff who lives on base
FOYER, DTS CLASSROOM, LIBRARY ANNEX (2-3 PEOPLE) 2PM
Vacuum carpet daily.
Stack the chairs.
Once a week, wash windows inside and outside classroom, in the entrance hall and polish the mirror.
Sweep the entrance and the entrance hall daily.
Mop the entrance hall weekly.
Empty all bins daily in the classroom.
Clean the glass door leading to the garden once a week.
If people are in the sun room, please ask them to leave so that you can clean the room properly
HOSPITALITY (1-3 PEOPLE) 2PM
Cleans the hospitality rooms.
Sweep the passage daily.
Laundry
Works directly with the hospitality co-ordinator
Take care of the DTS school speaker.
HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE AND WASH UP AREA (2 PEOPLE) 6:30AM & 2:00PM
On Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays - Put all rubbish bins outside the back gate for collection by 6.30 am.
Check that the bins have been emptied and bring them inside before class or during a morning break.
Sweep/wash down the rubbish passage outside and wash and disinfect all outside rubbish bins on Fridays.
Refill spray bottles and top up dish washing liquid bottles DAILY.
INSIDE RUBISH BINS - 2:00PM
Wash and disinfect all rubbish bins inside the base on Tuesdays & Fridays.
Dining Room, kitchen, wash up area, sunroom, outside in the garden and the passage by the pantry/cold room.
Sweep the area where brooms/mops are located daily.
Mop this area once a week.
LADIES TOILETS (1 PERSON) 2:00PM
Empty bins daily.
Clean the toilet bowl inside and outside daily.
Clean the basin and mirror daily.
Sweep and mop the floor daily. (outside the door too)
Always leave 3 toilet rolls spare in the toilet area.
Fill the paper towels and liquid hand soap dispenser daily.
Wipe down walls once a week.
Make sure the air-freshner is topped up.
Clean the window once a week.
To be done for both men’s toilets downstairs.
MENS TOILETS (1 PERSON) 2:00PM
Empty bins daily.
Clean the toilet bowl inside and outside daily.
Clean the basin and mirror daily.
Sweep and mop the floor daily. (outside the door too)
Always leave 3 toilet rolls spare in the toilet area.
Fill the paper towels and liquid hand soap dispenser daily.
Wipe down walls once a week.
Make sure the air-freshner is topped up.
Clean the window once a week.

MAINTENANCE (3-4 PEOPLE) 2:00PM
Maintains & Gardening work around the YWAM, Base functions on a project by project basis.
STAIRCASE AND 1ST FLOOR LAUNDRY (3 PEOPLE) 2:00PM
Sweep the staircases between the first and ground floor daily.
Sweep the passageway of the 1st floor daily.
Clean the windows at the staircase and at the end of the hall once a week.
Dust window sills daily.
Dust and polish the staircase railing once a week.
Tidy up the laundry room and sweep the floor daily.
Mop the laundry room floor once a week.
Wipe down the machines daily and clean out dryer vents.
Empty the rubbish bins daily.
Tidy the clothes in the blessing corner daily.
SUNROOM (2-3 PEOPLE) 2:00PM
Sweep and mop the sun room daily.
Once a week wash the inside/outside windows/glass doors.
Remove all dirty dishes/cups/trash laying around.
If people are in the sun room, please ask them to leave so that you can clean the room properly.

TOILET & SHOWER CLEANUP CHECKLIST

Please use gloves to protect your hand from the chemicals
For Bathroom cleaning please only use Yellow Rags
Empty bins daily & put a clean plastic bag in each bin.
Tie bags well and place rubbish in a RED bin inside the Kitchen (small bags are supplied for the small bin and larger bags are supplied for the bigger bin)
Clean the toilet bowl inside and outside daily.
Clean the basin and mirror daily.
Sweep and mop the floor daily (don't forget to mop around and behind the toilet).
Clean the shower floor & walls daily.
Clean the Windows daily.
Remove any personal stuff and put it outside the bathroom daily.
Always leave 3 toilet rolls spare in the toilet.
Check the supply of paper towels in the paper towel dispenser and fill up when necessary.
Check the supply of disposable bags in the small plastic box. Fill with more bags if necessary.
Every Friday & Before your team leaves - Wipe down walls & clean windows
After you finish your work duly please put the cleaning stuff and all the tools back in the tools store place .
LOUNGE CLEANUP CHECK LIST (UPSTAIRS)
Daily work duty including Saturdays & Sundays
Clean the Windows from inside (Every Friday)
Wipe surface and tables
Throw away any garbage
Remove any personal stuff
Clean the Rooms doors from outside
Vacuum the floor
Polish the wood
Put everything again in the right place
Sweep and mop tiles (move couch)

KITCHEN CLEANUP CHECK LIST
Daily work duty including Saturdays & Sundays
For kitchen clean please only use BLUE rags, For dishes, etc use RED rags
Wipe all counter tops , shells & front of all furniture.
Clean the Kitchen window from inside.
Security door from inside and the glass door from inside & outside.
Clean the Kitchen Door inside & outside.
Clean the tiled walls.
Sweep & mop floor.
Remove any of personal items.
Clean the basin and clean everything (Dishes , etc) dry and put it back in the right place.
Replenish coffee - tea - sugar - milk
Clean the microwave inside &outside.
Place dirty red rags it in the right plastic bag in the kitchen.
Remove the garbage, tie the bag well and keep it beside the bin
Place new plastic bags in garbage bins.
Every Friday - Clean the refrigerator, Remove all food items, clean the shells and the refrigerator and put the stuff back again... move the refrigerator and sweep and mop under it

LOUNGE CLEAN UP CHECKLIST (DOWNSTAIRS)
Daily work duty including Saturdays & Sundays
Wipe the outside of the room doors.
Wipe dll the surfaces, choirs, and table.
Wipe The inside of the house door.
Empty the garbage bin, and throw away any garbage.
Remove dll personal items.
Sweep and polish the stairs from top to bottom.
Sweep and polish the wooden floor.
Polish the wood.
Put everything bock in the correct piece.
Every Friday: Clean the inside at the Windows.

FRONT OF THE DOOR CLEAN UP CHECKLIST
Daily work duty including Saturdays & Sundays
Sweep all the the outside area between first and second door.
Clean the street doors, inside and outside.
Clean the house door from the outside.
Pick up the tree leaves, branches, and the rubbish. Put it in a bag and throw away.
Throw away dry garbage.
Remove all personal items.
Mop the tile floor.
Every Friday -
Clean the first floor Windows from the outside.
Clean the first floor room Windows from the outside.
Clean the walls.
Check electrical fence for anything caught on the fence
