Oasis Sanctuaries Inc. is seeking to raise 1.92 million US dollars to invest in a high quality property that would function as the primary operations facility for our Retreat Center. It would be an all inclusive, 5 star equivalent, hospitality space, equipped with two residential buildings with multiple guest suites, a large centralized gathering and dining space, debriefing rooms, and resort-like amenities (such as a communal pool and deck area and a playground for younger children) and expansive grounds.

Nestled into De Goode Hoop Estate, this beautiful five acre equestrian ranch is the definition of serenity and rest. De Goode Hoop, or “The Good Hope” in English, we are convinced that God is our Good Hope. He has both the capacity and desire to care for all of our needs. We believe that the name of this property is a prophetic statement of what God desires to build and restore in everyone that comes to our retreat center.

In keeping with our 8th Core Value, of ‘A Qualitative Approach’, we are leaning into the Scripture of John 10:10

“I come that they may have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” 

As well as Psalm 23: 1-3 :

He guides me along the right paths

Our desire is that each and every guest that comes to Oasis Sanctuaries would have a genuine encounter with God’s abundant and lavish care for them that exceeds their expectations and surpasses what seems “appropriate” or “reasonable.” God’s desire for the flourishing of his children is wildly abundant, and we believe that should be reflected on the facilities level. We want guests to participate in an experience that shifts the way they view themselves and the way that they view God and His provision. To do that we need to do more than give them a simple hostel-equivalent room. In this area moderate is not better.

We hope to create a sanctuary where we are able to bind up the brokenhearted, and those that are thirsty may come and be refreshed in any season, that their hope may be restored.

Even in the name of our organization, a primary motivation is to provide missionaries and non-profit workers with an Oasis, or a sanctuary of rest. A haven that is beautiful, relaxing, removed from the beaten path, and a space where they are able to unburden themselves, and fully connect with God and themselves, in the midst of beautiful creation.
