Muizenberg is a suburb of Cape Town, situated on the Cape Peninsula in the south-western tip of South Africa. The False Bay beaches in the south and the Muizenberg Mountain in the west frame the scenic suburb where YWAM Muizenberg has been located since 1989. The campus is situated approximately two-minute walk from the sea, one of the most popular surfing spots in Cape Town.

YWAM Muizenberg’s properties include a former hotel as our Main Training Campus (Base); a renovated house next door for our Staff Office; a few multi-story community-houses commonly referred to as Royal House & Cromer House; an office rented by ‘Bethesda House’ (a ministry that facilitates encounters with God, restoration and training) and The Ubuntu Centre— a new building we just purchased in 2020 which will be used for classrooms, offices and community gatherings. We also currently rent a classroom in Muizenberg for our School of Biblical Studies referred to as The Rock.

In Muizenberg, there are lots of boutique shops, a few grocery stores, a post office, great coffee, good food and ATM’s within walking distance of the campus, as well as two train stations for the MetroRail. The larger shopping malls and downtown Cape Town site-seeing are all accessible by the MetroRail or an Uber.
