E-Sim Cards

This new technology is an absolute game changer, now that we’ve had this set up for a few years, we have a ZA & US number, without physical SIM cards from both countries. This has allowed us to keep up with people from back home, as well as have a number to deal with all the admin of life (aka recieve bank verification codes over text).

How to set this up : 

  1. Call or go to your local ZA cell phone provider to confirm that your phone is “unlocked” so that you can use e-sim cards. 

  2. Then sign up for a US e-sim provider - we have Mint Mobile as its super affordable ($15 / month per line) and takes only a few minutes to set up !
