One of the expressions of our work is through the mobilization of care to be brought to cross cultural workers in their field context throughout the southern part of the African continent. This looks like overland excisions of small teams of qualified care providers traveling to remote contexts to bless cross cultural workers where they are at. Another expression is in hosting, where we would like to be able to pick up those we will be hosting from the airport and show them around the city.

Transportation is vital for our non-profit to continue to expand to serve cross cultural workers in the region. At the moment, we have a small sedan that can cozily seat four people, with little room for baggage which ultimately limits us. In our current capacity we are only able to pick up from the airport a single individual and their luggage in our car without needing to rent a large vehicle. Additionally, the ability to travel to further flung contexts is restricted by not having a vehicle that can navigate rural African roads. It is with both of these considerations in mind that we are hoping to be able to purchase a reliable four wheel drive SUV that can seat at least seven people, plus tow a trailer for luggage, and can also be used for rugged overland travel.

Ultimately this vehicle will allow us to meet our immediate needs, and long term plans for the expansion of our work.
